The best wine deal I have ever found.
some of my friends think wine trade shows would be a lot of fun to attend, hob-nobbing with hospitality notables, chatting about subtle flavor nuances of wine and its hidden influences on the meaning of life as only a winemaker can preach on and on about. And the cheese... mountains of little cubes of cheese with frilly toothpicks. And of course the swag.... lots of people with bags of swag. Bags filled with all sorts of cheap little plastic things that they hoard as if they are worth a king's randsom, especially after "tasting" ten or twelve wines. The truth is wine trade shows are not usually a lot of fun.It can be a little like walking the mid way at Cherry festival except everyone has teeth and are wearing suits with shiny name tags.
But this year I had a great time. I managed to dodge most of the winemakers sermons, exchanged pleasantries with everyone at the begining of their journey and not at the fuzzy end.I ate no cheese and my swag came in the form of a wine deal for you!
This truly is the best wine deal I have ever found. At one of the trade shows I was taking in the pitch from one of the bigwigs from Concannon Winery (located just outside of San Francisco) and I noticed four bottles of wine off to the side on a back table... hmmm I could smell a deal. And a deal we got WOW!
Three varietals - Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet.
Here's the details.......

Chardonnay -A very rounded wine, opening with expressive aromas of citrus, toast and hazelnut.
Merlot - A bounty of aromas and flavors such as ripe berry, plum and cherry flavors with supple tannins.
Cabernet Sauvignon - Red currants, boysenberry and bright cherry aromas and flavors linger throughout each sip. Try this with Jim's pepper crusted New York Strip.
Here's the deal........
