Nouveau Beaujolais Dinner This Weekend
Join us this Friday or Saturday night for a Fantastic and affordable celebration!


These simple wines of France are by law not released for consumption until the third Thursday in November. Typical food to accompany these wines is simple and “peasant” in nature…country fare.


Appetizers:
Rilletes of Pork
A wonderfully delicious slow simmered pork “pate”, actually it is more like a spread. Cubes of pork are simmered in wine and
aromatic herbs. It is minced and packed in a pot and served with toasted baguette. $9
Potato Anna
A classic potato dish consisting of thinly sliced potato layered in a sauté pan and sautéed in a light coating of duck fat. It is crispy and presented with a rosemary
beurre blanc. $8


Entrée:
Poulet a L’Estragon
Roast half chicken simmered in tarragon infused light cream sauce with aromatic vegetables and “pommes frites”. $18

Cod en Confit
Sauteed “butterfish” black cod presented with duck confit, spinach and artichoke sauce. $22

Mussels Provencal
Black sea mussels simmered in a white wine with araomatic vegetables, served with grilled baguette & garlic aoli. $19

Pork “Choucroute” Style
A slow roasted pork shank presented with the classic Parisian bistro food. It is accompanied with sauerkraut, potato and sausage seasoned with aromatics. $24

Dessert:
Profiteroles!
A simple pastry filled with vanilla ice cream and drenched with a chocolate cognac sauce. $7
