Join us This Wednesday January 16th from 5pm till around 7:30 to taste the following wines.
Vinas de Balbo Wines
2005 Red Wine (30% Malbec, 70% Bonarda) $66 per case !
This excellent blend is created from the balanced combination of Bonarda and Malbec grapes. Ruby red color, soft, persistent aroma, and delicate bouquet. In the mouth, it has a rounded velvety body with red-fruit flavors and a delicious finish.
2005 White Wine (30% Chardonnay, 70% Trebbiano) $66 per case!
This blend, created from Chardonnay and Trebbiano grapes, has a delicate, golden color with hints of emerald green. It has a subtle but persistent aroma and a particularly soft and fruity flavor.
2006 Balbo Torrontes $90 per case!
Grown in Argentina, Torrontes (Torrontés Riojano) is an aromatic white grape varietal that produces dry wines with a distinct Muscat flavor. This intriguing wine has unique characteristics not to be found anywhere else in the world.
Balbo Torrontes has a unique elegance, a particular bright, golden color and a charming floral aroma. In the mouth, it is dry, crisp, and well-balanced.
A perfect match for appetizers or delicate cheeses.
Don Silvestre Malbec 2005 $72 per case
Intense dark red color with violet notes. In the nose it shows complex aromas of red fruits, plums and leather notes. In the mouth it is round, medium bodied and well structured, with soft tannins and a very elegant finish.
Silvestre Tempranillo 2005 $72 per case
Ruby red color, intense and bright. Wonderful aromas of mature cherries, blackberries and dark chocolate. In the mouth it is medium bodied, with intense acidity characteristic of the Tempranillo grape. It has a complex combination of red berries, light tobacco and vanilla.
San Telmo Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 $90 per case
