Spanish Wines $49.50 a Case!
Some times they just fall in my lap.
I"ve seen this wine around town for $6.99 a bottle which is probably a fare price unless you know a couple of things. First, the wine importer is selling this wine below winery cost as a strategy to gain market share and build brand loyalty and second they really really want to move a large quantity very quickly. This has deal written all over it!
Spanish wines have always been good values but this is a combination we havent seen in a while. Opera Prima was started by the well respected house of Garcia Carrion in Spain. Garcia Carrion have five D.O. wineries located in the Rioja, Duero, Penedes-Cava,Jumilla and Ruedo regions allowing them access to a wide variety of great fruit from which they can make outstanding wines at an even more outstanding price point. Opera Prima is the result of these efforts and will reward you with wines of character not easily found at twice the price!
I will set these wines up at the dining bar for a quick tasting Tuesday and Wednesday from 5pm.till around 7pm. I'll have to charge for the tasting so lets make it $5.00 to taste all four of them, Chardonay, Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot and Shiraz.
All orders have to be in by 1p.m. on Thursday November 13 2008 pick up will be the next day Friday November 14 after 3pm. We will have a dinner that night Friday November 14.
Two dinners for $28.00 and you can open a bottle of your wine no extra charge.
Case lots only. Please no mixed cases. You may combine cases of each wine in your order but not bottles of each.
Thank you for your business. We will continue to work hard to find you more great wine deals. As always, we back all of our retail wines 100%.
